Yes, Yes I do, I think that we all have an innate genius within. I don't think everyone could be the head of a government or a company or even a household. But the real question is if those are the true measures of success? Is power, political or otherwise the ultimate motive? Is happiness the ultimate motive? I would argue against that, to be the sovereign is more fitting to the motive of most, autonomy of decision post industrial revolution. WE HAVE TO COME TO TERMS WITH THIS TECHNOLOGICAL AGE.
What I am trying to say is to touch on Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, in the pursuit of mass production and mass consumption we have left behind the idea of mass FELICITY.
Felicity, I believe is still there to be discovered again and extrapolated on, but it is our opportunity going forward to ACTUALIZE THIS, to live out the life of an artisan, ultimately we have the choice to reject the ways of this world yet we constantly choose not to.
It is not the station that matters but the person serving the station, the work must only be done because we say it need be done, because we have a standard of lifestyle that we have aimed, fought, killed, and our brothers and sisters have died to protect. Yet, on the time scale so far it has defeated our spirit. Him with indomitable spirit can never be subject to these treacherous times and that is what it takes, an indomitable spirit, to not bend a knee to another because of force but to bend the knee out of grace.
IT IS NOT ABOUT PRIDE. To say "I will never bend a knee to another man" is poppycock. Grace is to understand that, the other person may just need that show of faith more than you, and ultimately, if your plan is political power, you should practice subversion and gain good graces, be Hamiltonian, be Machiavellian,
