PLAYMAXXING and the Strife of the LARPER

Now playing: Last Train 2 LONDON - Electric Light Orchestra

The art of the LARP - sit down kitten, daddy is teaching.

The ways of the world are not always very clear but through fervent observation and inquiry into the SELF (refer to my last post or look in a mirror or meditate or some shit) one may be pleased or not to find that there are quite a few layers to this onion called life

SIDE NOTE: I ACTUALLY LOVE SHREK SO MUCH, like Shrek was okay in his onion, he was getting by, he didn't care about scent matching his apartment with his style (well i guess he did in a way) but that brother was chilling, he hated the villagers and the villagers didn't like him but saw him as a source of entertainment. The more they laughed at him the more he hated them, or so he presented. Eventually Shrek realizes that his journey lie outside the onion, and for that he has to become more than an ogre, but is he becoming or revealing???

Chat, this is the point of today's blog post, is it about becoming or revealing??

What is the difference between a manipulator and an alchemist???

Don't worry kitten, daddy will explain...

The manipulator and the alchemist are essentially very similar except the alchemist is operating from a state of play, he is not forcing, he is willing. FORCE VS WILL, DEATH VS DISHONOR!

There are two men, and they are scheduled to face each other in a fight, a boxing match let's say. One of them is headed into the fight and he spent the whole camp learning how to kill, how to destroy his opponent, he has mastered his knockout punches. So he will go out there to kill.

The other fighter is scared, he knows the power his opponent holds, he doesn't see how his training will correlate to his victory, but instead of accepting his defeat, he accepts his death. The day you signed up for the fight, you accepted that death (however unlikely) is an outcome.

When they get in the ring, we begin to understand the resolve of the two fighters, the killer is fighting his opponent, while the other is fighting himself. So instead of standing across the ring from each other, it's like a tag team match against one person, both the killer and his opponent are fighting the man ready to die, and from that angle - 1.) it may be easier to see what the killer is throwing at you and 2.) you realize no matter what the killer throws at you, you realize he is not in flow, he is throwing the combos and living out the practice drill, but he who is willing to die is willing to pattern disrupt, maybe that means an illegal shot, maybe that means holding onto the opponent a little too long, but it definitely means AT LEAST ATTEMPTING a low blow before you bow out.

Much toil is to be seen through the course of our lives, and sometimes, you have to get up and fight dirty.

To try and loop this all together, The killer is the manipulator, He has come to rob, kill, and steal. The sheep do not recognize his voice or listen to him because he is a hired hand, he signed up to kill not to get killed.

The opponent is the alchemist, although he has honed his craft in the conventional he is imbued with the unconventional, I think often times we mistake those who are "ready to die" as given up or ready to take unnecessary punishment. The alchemist is the transmuter, they will their desired reality, despite the punches taken along the way. The manipulator is a liar, he forces his reality into existence and is then out of flow.

What point am I trying to make?

Be an alchemist, live you life, be an actualizer. You may have a million beautiful ideas, and if you are able to action them, come trial come tribulation, come failure, come success - you have transmuted reality and integrated it with the self.

I love the idea that is brought up in terms of meditation (I have heard it related to Jungian psychology but I would not be surprised if it extended)

--When meditating, the thoughts that we feel we may be encouraging ourselves to think about or that we feel we're making up say a whole lot and maybe even more than the subconscious messaging we do actually receive.

Okay - what i am saying, whether the goal is money, sex, fame, whatever it may be. LARP - LIVE ACTION ROLE PLAY - the key is to enter the play state, to have fun with your life.

YOU IS SMART, YOU IS BEAUTIFUL, YOU IS ABLE TO ACHIEVE

the goal is to be a kid again - i always loved suits, so i wear me suit. you're allowed to be you, give yourself that permission twinnimum minimum #lockedin
